We have partnered with a wholesale toy company that is seeking a Junior Packaging Designer to join their team on a full-time basis.
Ideally, you would be onsite 4-5 days per week with Fridays remote. They are located in Manhattan.
You will be joining a small team of 5 which includes a Senior Designer.
Packaging Designer Responsibilities:
- Experience taking CAD files of cardboard packaging and applying graphics
- Creative execution of design layouts and concepts. You will be working side by side with the President and you will be responsible for owning the creative design of all of the toy packaging.
- Be able to work in a faster-paced environment and work with overseas vendors
- Create custom dielines
- Illustrator and Photoshop
- 3D renderings of packaging
Packaging Designer Requirements:
- 1-3 years of experience
- Toy experience is a PLUS, not required
- Packaging experience
In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
