Inova Purifiers currently has an immediate opening for a Solidworks Designer at our McKinney site. Role requires design and CAD modeling using SolidWorks for modeling state-of-the-art air purifier systems from sheetmetal and aluminum.

This position would suit an Engineering or Industrial Design graduate looking to gain valuable experience in both a design and production environment which utilizes CNC equipment in a high precision environment. Experienced candidates will also be considered and renumeration assessed on the level of experience.

Proficiency with modeling sheetmetal assemblies in a timely manner and a high level of attention to detail is a must for this position.

The position involves but is not limited to: design, research, prototyping, and generating engineering documentation, ideally in accordance with ISO 9001. The successful candidate will collaborate with design/purchasing and shop/assembly on design projects. Good working environment with a friendly, passionate team. This is a dynamic hands-on position where valuable experience can be gained on a number of different platforms from design to production and understanding what goes into designing the best air purifiers.

Responsibilities:

· Utilize Solidworks for modeling designs.

· Research new designs and materials.

· Compile and document bill of materials and drawings for all models.

· Work closely with management and production to manufacture prototypes.

Preferred Skills:

· Bachelor or Associate Degree in Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering or related field

· Experience in mechanical design or experience in a manufacturing environment

· Experience with SolidWorks and sheetmetal assemblies

· Must have a high level of attention to detail and quality control

· Ability to plan, schedule, coordinate and problem solve effectively

-This role requires a high degree of self-management and the ability to work unsupervised on projects with daily reviews.
