As an Industrial Designer at Juggernaut Case, you will have an unprecedented level of access and understanding to current CONOPS that ensure soldier acceptance. You will be part of a dedicated team creating compelling, combat-proven products for our core military, enterprise and adventure seeking users. You will be responsible for supporting both the user experience and each aspect of the industrial design of your assigned product or product area. As a key member of a highly collaborative team, you will participate in field research and concept phases, working closely with our in-house Engineering teams, Product Management, Marketing and Sales teams and others to ensure that all objectives of the defined solution User Experience are met when the product reaches the user.
You will also act as a brand ambassador for the Juggernaut Case portfolio of products and evangelize for excellence in design with the internal teams.
This role is an onsite role at our HQ in Scottsdale, AZ.

WHO YOU ARE
- Well-versed in a range of design methodologies.
- Display competence across all stages of the design process – conceptualization, building prototypes or crafting high-fidelity aesthetic designs.
- Able to articulate your ideas and communicate findings effectively.
- Both independent and team-oriented, with the ability to design and develop UX product solutions for a wide variety of user scenarios in a highly oriented cross-group environment.
- Motivated to conduct your own informal user research, task analysis, and usability testing to get to what really matters.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Collaborate with the team, explore materials, and contribute to the success of projects
- Iterate designs based on feedback to enhance function, usability, and aesthetics.
- Produce CAD models and high-quality renderings to communicate design intent.
- Create customer-facing, product, and packaging graphics and drawings to supply to vendors
- Support prototyping and testing, including 3D prints and physical models
- Stay current with design trends and technologies to bring fresh, innovative ideas to projects..
- Understand and be responsible for following established project budgets and schedules.
- Deeply understand the principles of good User Experience and user testing.
- Develop products using conceptual sketching, 3D model making, rapid prototyping, CAD modeling and photorealistic rendering visualization software tools. Seek to stay on top of industry design tool developments and share your knowledge with the team.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- College Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design.
- 1-2 years related work experience within industrial design and end-to-end product development.
- Fluent in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop
- Comfortable with Solidworks and Keyshot
- Rapid sketching and visualization skills
- Interest in/ familiarity with A.I. tools for ID
- Proficient in physical model making and rapid prototyping tools.
- Competent oral and written communication skills.
- An exceptional design portfolio which showcases work demonstrating impactful enterprise and consumer product design solutions. It should be well-versed and clearly articulate user problems, and the final design solution.
- Experienced in Design Thinking – familiar with user centered design and iterative processes.
