Job Overview:We are seeking a creative and commercially savvy Industrial Designer & Product Manager, with expertise in furniture and consumer goods design for retail. The ideal candidate should possess strong design skills in furniture, be able to understand market trends, and drive innovative designs to ensure that products meet consumer needs and maintain a competitive edge in the market
.Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the full cycle of product design and management, from concept to market launch, developing products that meet market demands in the furniture and consumer goods sectors.
- Analyze industry trends, market dynamics, and consumer behavior to identify opportunities and translate them into innovative product designs.
- Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to ensure the feasibility of design solutions in terms of production and cost control.
- Manage product life-cycles, including new product development, improvements to existing products, and cost optimization.
- Work closely with the marketing and sales teams to develop product marketing strategies, ensuring that designs align with brand positioning and market needs.
- Communicate with suppliers to ensure that materials and designs meet expected quality standards.
- Monitor product performance in the market, analyze sales data and feedback, and continuously optimize product designs and features.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Industrial Design, Product Design, or related fields.
- 3+ years of experience in furniture design or consumer goods design, with a proven track record of successful product launches.
- In-depth understanding of market trends, user needs, and competitive landscapes.
- Proficiency in CAD, 3D modeling, and other relevant design software.
- Strong communication and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Innovative mindset with a keen eye for detail, able to work under tight deadlines.
- Experience in supply chain and production processes is a plus.
