About the Role
Core Home is looking for a highly creative, trend-aware Industrial Designer with experience in kitchen appliances to join our fast-growing design and innovation team. Based in the NYC area, this role is perfect for a designer who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and wants to create products seen — and loved — by millions of people worldwide.
You’ll work on meaningful design projects from concept to production, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and travel internationally for trend research, factory visits, and development meetings.
Key Responsibilities
- Design innovative kitchen appliances and home products from concept through production
- Create sketches, 3D models, renderings, and prototypes that reflect a high level of design sensitivity
- Translate trend research, market needs, and user insights into commercially viable products
- Work closely with engineers, sourcing, and overseas manufacturing partners
- Present work internally and externally with confidence and clear design storytelling
- Travel internationally for trend spotting, working sessions, and factory collaboration
Qualifications
- 3–7 years of industrial design experience, preferably in kitchen appliances or consumer goods
- Proficiency in SolidWorks, Rhino (or similar), KeyShot, and Adobe Creative Suite
- A strong eye for form, materials, finishes, and color
- Experience bringing designs to life through overseas manufacturing
- Passion for elevated, trend-forward design and user-centric innovation
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills
