Key Responsibilities:
As an Industrial Designer with a focus on robotics, your role will be pivotal in shaping the future of human-robot interaction. You'll be at the forefront of developing the full industrial design for a series of robots - taking concepts from initial refinement through to final prototyping stages. Your expertise will be crucial in creating detailed design drawings and exploring color, material, and finish options. You'll work hand-in-hand with engineers to ensure mechanical integration, design feasibility, and manufacturing readiness. Your ability to iterate designs based on user interaction goals and functional requirements will be key to success in this role.
- Develop the full industrial design for a series of robots, from concept refinement through final prototyping stages.
- Create detailed design drawings, CMF (color, material, finish) explorations, and internal structural layouts.
- Collaborate closely with engineers to ensure mechanical integration, design feasibility, and manufacturing readiness.
- Iterate designs based on user interaction goals, functional requirements, and social or cultural context.
- Work closely with the project manager and contribute flexibly to other project tasks as needed.
- Produce high-quality visualizations, design documentation, and CAD-ready deliverables.

- 5+ years of industrial design experience with a focus on robotics, smart devices, or expressive hardware products.
