Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented and creative Designer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for building strong relationships with clients, understanding their design visions and requirements, and translating those visions into innovative and stylish residential cabinetry and millwork designs. You will work closely as part of a Busby Design Team to ensure the successful execution and delivery of your designs while adhering to the client's budget and timelines.
Responsibilities:
- Client Relationship Building: Foster strong relationships with clients, including homeowners, luxury custom home builders, and third-party design firms, to understand their unique preferences and expectations.
- Design Vision Discovery: Meet with clients to determine their design vision, requirements, and functional needs, actively listening to their ideas and preferences.
- Creative Design: Create innovative and aesthetically pleasing designs that not only reflect the client's vision but also incorporate the latest trends in residential cabinetry and millwork. Ensure that designs are within the client's budget.
- Visual Communication: Present clients with design concepts through samples, renderings, and CAD drawings, effectively communicating the proposed design work and allowing them to visualize the end result.
- Contract Presentation: Prepare and present clients with contracts, reviewing terms and conditions meticulously to establish clear expectations regarding costs, delivery schedules, installation processes, and after-sales service.
- Collaborative Teamwork: Collaborate closely with the Busby team, including craftsmen, installers, and project managers, to ensure that the designs are executed and delivered to meet or exceed the expectations of the clients.
