Leading Retail Company is seeking an Industrial Designer for an onsite, full-time opportunity. Candidates must be willing to work onsite 5 days per week in Hacienda Heights.
MUST HAVES:
- 5+ years of experience taking products to market bringing products from concept to production
- Strong design sensibility with excellent sketching and conceptualization skills
- Extensive experience designing consumer products
- Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, SolidWorks and Keyshot or similar rendering software
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Develop and execute product designs from concept to production, ensuring timely delivery
- Create detailed sketches, CAD models, and 3D renderings to effectively communicate design concepts
- Collaborate with engineering, marketing, and production teams to ensure designs meet functional, aesthetic, and manufacturability standards
- Stay informed on market trends and integrate them into innovative product designs
- Oversee the prototyping and testing of designs, incorporating user feedback and technical constraints
- Ensure production feasibility and cost-effectiveness by working closely with suppliers and manufacturers
- Present design concepts and prototypes to stakeholders and team members for review
NICE TO HAVES:
- Experience designing home appliances
- Knowledge of electronics and mechanical components
- A passion for staying up to date with current trends in consumer electronics
