Summary:
Industrial Designer is responsible for gathering of drawings and specifications, calculating material and equipment requirements, program machines and set up production methods for fabrication operations. The Industrial Designer will work closely with the Fabrication department to bring concepts to life, ensuring that they meet both aesthetic and functional requirements.
Areas of responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Draft detailed manual drawings for shop production
- Ensure final designs comply with regulations and quality standards
- Identify potential operational issues and redesign products to improve functionality
- Document production methods, including equipment to be used
- Create instructions manuals that describe existing products’ operation, features, and maintenance
- Communicating with administration on job progress
Education, Skills, Experience, and Knowledge:
- Associated degree and professional certifications are preferred, but not required.
- Experience with insulation fabrication is a plus, but not required
- Able to read and interpret drawings / blueprints, and follow work instructions
- Capable of accurately using and reading precise measuring equipment as required
- Proficient math, computer, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
· Capable of meeting deadlines and multitasking in a fast-paced environment
Work Environment:
Office operations and warehouse/fabrication environment
Physical demands may include but are not limited to:
- High level of walking, standing, and/or climbing
- Stooping, bending, kneeling, and reaching
- Work outside/inside around machinery with moving parts and vehicles
- Exposure to all seasons of weather, as well as slippery and uneven surfaces
Travel:
Local travel daily to location sites.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $101,230.00 per year
