Who we are looking for:
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Designer to join our dynamic team. This is a full-time, on-site role in Maple Grove, MN in which they will play a key role in developing client concepts from idea to production. This role requires a balance of creativity, technical knowledge, and collaboration to design projects that are functional, aesthetically appealing, and manufacturable. Accomplishes requirements affiliated with project design and development as well as other supportive tasks.
Responsibilities
- Conceptualize, design, and develop innovative products that align with brand and customer needs.
- Create 2D sketches, 3D models, and presentation layouts to communicate design ideas.
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, graphic artist and project management teams to ensure feasibility and alignment with project goals.
- Conduct research on trends, materials, and user needs to inform design decisions.
- Develop detailed design specifications, drawings, and documentation for production.
- Present design concepts and progress updates at key milestones to internal teams and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 3+ years of retail designer industry experience preferred with experience creating innovative and visually appealing designs.
- Proficient in CAD and 3D modeling software (e.g., SolidWorks, Rhino, FormZ).
- Excellent sketching, visualization, and presentation and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and good problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Adobe Products (Illustrator, Indesign, Acrobat, etc.)
- Experience working with Photorealistic Rendering software is a plus, Keyshot is preferred.
- Computer skills: spreadsheets, word processing, ERP systems.
- Ability to understand, follow, and issue routine oral and written instructions
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues
- Willingness to gain abilities, add skills and find new solutions to further enhance the project development process to gain efficiency.
- Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams while multi-tasking and meeting deadlines
Physical Demands & Work Environment
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. as required.

The wage range for this position is $60,000 - $90,000 annually depending on experience.
