Job Description:
- Client is looking for a talented, customer-focused PRODUCT designer to join our Private Brand Design team for a three to six month contract.
- The ideal candidate will have the ability to design home & kitchen products for a Q1 brand collaboration.
- The ideal candidate will bring expertise in transforming creative concepts into commercially viable products while maintaining design integrity and partner brand values.
Responsibilities:
- Product concept ideation and refinement
- Technical specification creation
- Sample request and review
- Design documentation and presentation
- Production file preparation
- Drive product development from concept to production
- Create high-quality 3D renderings and technical specifications
- Develop concept sketches and presentation decks
- Manage sample reviews and provide detailed feedback
- Coordinate with manufacturing partners
- Present concepts and progress to leadership team
Required Skills:
- 6+ years of industrial design experience
- Expert in 3D modeling (Rhino, SolidWorks, or similar)
- Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience with generative AI tools
- Manufacturing and material knowledge
- Excellence in online collaboration platforms
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills
Top 3 Must Haves:
- Sketch and render into 3D for product design
- Strong written and verbal skills
- Time management
