Frama-Tech LLC is hiring an Industrial Designer.

Job Duties: Conceptualize, design, and develop graphic art for digital printing of edgebanding on PVC substrates. Evaluate feasibility of design ideas, based on factors such as appearance, safety, function, serviceability, budget, production costs/methods, and market characteristics. Present designs and reports to customers or design committees within Frama-Tech for approval or modification. Confer with engineering, marketing, production, or sales departments, or with customers, to establish and evaluate design concepts for Frama-Techs edgebanding products. Use Adobe Photoshop and ripping software to prepare files for the digital printing process. Conduct proofing sessions to ensure designs are ready for print, making adjustments to color, size, and design as necessary. Modify and refine designs, using working models, to conform with customer specifications, production limitations, or changes in design trends. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines and adjusting to shifting priorities. Stay updated with industry trends, technology, and software that can enhance efficiency and output.

Education and Experience Requirements: Bachelors degree in Industrial Design or a closely related field; 24 months previous employment experience in industrial design.

Other Special Skills or Requirements: Experience with various substrates such as vinyl, paper, or PVC. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Adobe Photoshop, and ripping software. Experience with digital printing file preparation and color management.

Location and Travel Requirements: The position is located at Frama-Tech LLCs facility in Arlington, Texas. Travel is not required.
